The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, nestled in tall trees and overlooking a beautiful waterfall. missing
-the ambience of the Inn--festive, warm, inviting -the friendliness of the staff
-I was redeeming a "Life Experiences" gift card and sought direct instructions from the Inn staff on how to correctly book the night; the information I was given was incorrect ("when booking on-line be sure to put the # of your Life Experiences gift card and time you would like to have dinner in the special requests section"). When my husband and I arrived there was no dinner booking (fortunately there was room for us--in fact, we were seated in a large area of the dining room alone...) and the man at the front desk had no idea what to do with the gift card (he just took it so that the next staff could deal with it). This lead to us being billed for dinner with gratuities (which were supposed to be included in the gift card--we were reimbursed for the dinner but not the gratuity). We did not receive the complimentary champagne as advertised on the card. The "gift" of a romantic night away was somehow marred by the staffs' lack of awareness of what exactly the "life experience" was supposed to be.

As backpackers, we loved the beautiful setting and the opportunity to enjoy the natural scenery and nature. The platform in the stream below the pool was a highlight, providing a unique and relaxing environment. The spa treatments, including the massage and facial, were exceptional and a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.
Felt at home, no complaints at all.

My husband and I stay here every year, and our spring visit was absolutely glorious. The eco-lodge exceeded our expectations with its romantic, beautiful, and serene atmosphere. We loved the huge tub overlooking the river and the private swim in the secluded pool. The spa was fantastic, and I had a wonderful facial. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the view was stunning. The staff were friendly and professional. We can't wait to return soon.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel and spa. The deluxe rooms in the main building were comfortable, rustic, and spacious with a lovely view over the river. The Heron bistro served excellent food for lunch and dinner, and the breakfast at the main restaurant was also top-notch with great attention to presentation. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the General Manager even took the time to recommend local walks in town. The outdoor facilities, including the red Adirondack chairs and gardens, were a nice touch. Will definitely return if in the area.
Hard to think of anything negative about this place! 😊

We recently stayed at a charming hotel in Wakefield for a special occasion. The location was ideal, with breathtaking views of the falls from our room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a luxurious king-sized bed. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, providing us with all the amenities we needed. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast included a wide variety of delicious options, satisfying our taste buds every morning.
The hot tub was not functioning during our stay.

The lobby is impressive with a cozy fireplace, pool table, and bar, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere to spend time with family. The suite I stayed in was modern, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs and sauna, which provided a relaxing retreat. The highlight of my stay was the amazing spa. I indulged in three fantastic treatments, including a massage, facial, and foot treatment, all of which were top-notch and left me feeling rejuvenated. The spa treatments were fantastic and truly relaxing, providing a perfect romantic escape for my partner and me. The location of the hotel was ideal, offering a peaceful setting surrounded by nature while still being close enough to easily access nearby attractions. The luxurious accommodations added an extra touch of comfort and elegance to our stay, making it even more enjoyable.
We experienced some issues with the customer service during our stay. There was a mistake with the spa charges, and the receptionist was dismissive and unapologetic when we brought it to her attention.
